Glass beads are created all around the world. However, the highest quality glass beads are created in Japan. Rhimani's jewellery uses these Japanease beads and they are manufactured with molten glass. →

Our materials used to make our jewellery such as the sterling silver clasps are sourced from a variety of UK based wholesalers. →

Now we have all our components, we can make our jewellery. We in-house hand make our pieces. Rhimani has a small team of jewellery makers who have individual work stations. Similar to the action of sewing, they curate our pieces. →

Lastly all our orders are packaged and posted from our studio in London. We don't use an external warehouse. We also use our local Royal Mail post office too.

Our earrings are intricately handmade by a team of women in Nairobi. Our head supplier, called Anne, employs 5 or so women to craft our range. The team work in Karen, on the outside of Nairobi. →

After Anne and her team finish making our earrings, Anne posts them to London. We aim to make large orders from our team, few times a year to avoid air travel as much as possible. →

Once the pieces reach us in London, we attach the earring hooks to them. Anne and her team curate the body of the earrings but we finish them off. We attach silver/gold hooks that are sourced from UK wholesalers. →
